Pub Theology is open to anyone 21 years and older who enjoy gathering with people for fun and friendship while discussing our experience of how God is at work in the world around us. The only requirement is a willingness to listen and be open to other thoughts and ideas while being free to share your own. We meet every 4-6 weeks (or so) on random nights of the week at The Pourhouse Tavern. You can also find us on Facebook as the group Peace Pub Theology.

Next Pub Theology Gathering
Wednesday, October 20th; 7-9PM at The Pourhouse Tavern
Mill Street
Gahanna, OH
Our last gathering topic, "What we love about Jesus but hate about church" led to great conversation. Should we continue on this theme or would you like to move onto another? If you'd rather move on, what idea do you have for a topic?

What We Don't Like about Christians but Love About Jesus
Great discussion last night at our Pub Theology Gathering! It started with people scratching their heads wondering about the "broadness" of our topic, but by the end of the evening most of the participants seemed engaged in terrific discussion. Here are some of the books that were mentioned...

Sermon reflections from Allison...
Last Sunday I preached a sermon about Gideon (Judges 6-7). Afterward Allison handed me her reflections. If you missed the sermon, this pretty much recaps all of it...
If you want to hear the sermon and use these pictures as an outline, the sermon will soon be available at www.peacegahanna.org/sermons

Israel/Palestinian Conflict Discussion
Thanks to Skip and everyone who participated in our July gathering. Skip Cornett, led us through an eye opening conversation about why this ongoing issue is confusing and complicated. Skip has also begun working on putting together a Peace trip to Israel, perhaps as early as November 2011. If you are interested in this trip let us know and we will make sure you stay connected. If you participated in this discussion and have further thoughts, ideas, questions please feel free to share them here.
